Alex Flores Bertini (born April 26, 2001) is an Uruguayan independent film director and producer. He is best known for the short documentary Sun City (2019), about the foundation of Piriápolis and its ties to alchemy. The film was exhibited at the Castillo de Piria and received an Official Selection at The Lift-Off Sessions (2020), along with several other international selections, and a nomination for Best Short Documentary at the Fenacies Student Film Festival (Uruguay).
Flores began his film career at the Polo Tecnológico UTU Arrayanes, gaining experience across documentary and fiction in directing, executive production, and camera assistance.
Credits include executive producer of the fiction short Adole(s)cer (2023); camera assistant and executive production assistant on Season 2 and 3 of the Uruguayan series Es amor? (2024); executive production assistant on the feature No robarás las botas de los muertos (in development); and executive production assistant on the documentary La primera estrella (in development).
